Australia – Thunder Down Under with Carlings

We brought 200 Carlings managers with us to Australia to witness the incredible culture, meet up with numerous international clothing brands – and a certain very famous bass guitarist …

Every other year for the last ten years, clothing chain Carlings has arranged a trip abroad for their store managers.

The firm believes in internal marketing: by motivating the managers, a healthy work culture and loyalty is built, which in turn can be transferred to the employees. Going on such trips builds a strong business culture – along with the great sense of companionship that Carlings is known for.

Previously, Carlings had arranged trips to London, Russia, Texas and Tennessee and California in the U.S, China and Japan. We wanted to take our group even further, and brought the 200 lucky Carlings managers with us to wild and beautiful Australia.

In order to solve the task from the other side of the earth, we cooperated with the local agency
AZB Creative. They helped us create a five-day program that would take us to the Gold Coast (via Byron Bay) to Sydney.

During the trip, we were joined by international brands such as Diesel, Levis, Nudie, VF and G-star: Each firm arrange their own little kick-off just for us, and provided a great atmosphere for our group.

There were also a number of other suppliers who provided kick-offs and presentations in the daytime.

After a lovely stay at the Gold Coast and in Byron Bay, the trip ended with an awards show and gala diner at the enormous glass boat Starship in Darling Harbour. But the definite highlight of the trip was when no other than Kiss bass guitarist Gene Simmons showed up to say hi to the Carlings group …

An incredibly rewarding and successful trip with an extremely happy travel group. We want to thank you for an amazing and fun mission!
