JCP behind one of ”World’s Top 40 Campaigns”

5000 entries. 60 countries. 40 campaigns standing at the finish line. JCP’s “The Friendship Breakfast” has been chosen as one of the best PR campaigns of the year by Global SABRE Awards 2017.

October 25th is one of the most important events in the communication world, Holmes Report’s Global SABRE Awards at PRovoke17, being held at St Regis Bal Harbour resort in Miami.

Five thousand entries were sent in to The Global SABRE Awards from 60 different countries. Forty campaigns have been chosen to receive honor at Global SABRE Awards ceremony. These Top 40 Campaigns are representing the best work within public relations from the past year.

Will see more CSR communication
JCP’s campaign The Friendship Breakfast developed for TINE SA and Red Cross is one of the campaigns that will be honored at Global Public Relations Summit in Miami.

“The winners of the Global awards are the elite of the elite, representing best practice in categories ranging from social media to social responsibility, from public affairs to employee communications”, the website states.

The Top 40 Campaigns will be recognized at the awards gala, which will also celebrate the Holmes Report’s 2017 Global Agencies of the Year.

– Awards like these are obviously very nice to receive, but most importantly, it reminds us of businesses’ role in society. I am quite sure that we will see more communication solutions like “The Friendship Breakfast” in the future, not only because it is important, but also because it gives a long-term effect, says Lars Eia Kirkholm, Advertising Consultant at JCP.

The Friendship Breakfast
It’s almost a year ago since the “Goodvertising” project, which brought together more than 7,000 children and adults to The Friendship Breakfast began. Norwegians and refugees from Syria came together at 79 different asylum centers to eat a meal together and to get to know each other. The Friendship Breakfast is still ongoing today.

The project has gotten attention and acknowledgment from all over the world, and it has received “gold” at European SABRE Awards in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) categories and Innovation Social, French Heavent Awards and various Norwegian prices. Now, JCP is happy to travel to Miami to pick up another SABRE award along with the TINE and Red Cross. This time in the PR World Cup, SABRE Global Awards.
