JCP won “This year’s Event Agency” at Sponsor- og Eventprisen 2019

After receiving eight nominations, JCP went home with two awards including “ This year’s Event Agency” at Sponsor- og eventprisen 2019.

Sponsor- og eventprisen is arranged every year by The Norwegian Sponsoring and Event Association to celebrate the industry. This year the award show was held at Thon Hotel Storo in Oslo.

JCP had eight nominations in six different categories with the projects “The Song that Changed the World” with Nobel Peace Center and Øyafestivalen, “La livet ditt innrede stua” with IKEA, Trigger and Mediacom and “OBOS24” with OBOS and Ekko Agency.

Best Event Agency
For the first time ever, the award “This year’s Event Agency” were handed out and JCP were announced the winner. This is the jury’s reasoning:

What started out as a small event agency created by four people in a basement has twenty years later turned out to be a full-service communications house with 140 employees who seriously have taken their place in the industry. They have made their mark in international competitions and delivered quality events for many years. JCP´s commitment and energy have inspired the entire industry. The footprint of JCP is characterized by creativity, knowledge and their ability to capture audiences. It is hardly a Norwegian who has not been exposed to JCP’s events in some form. They are in their twentieth year and topped it with the implementation of OBOS24 and a new focus on climate and sustainability. The jury congratulates JCP as the well-deserved winner of the award for this year’s event agency.

JCP also won the award “Sponsor or Cultural Events” for OBOS24 together with OBOS and Ekko Agency. The jury said this:

This year’s Sponsor of Cultural events has uniquely linked its core business with sponsorship of culture to create unique experiences. The winner has visited the citizens of Oslo at home in their living groom, in the backyard and in the streets with the world’s first real 24-hour festival. They gathered 55,000 people for the largest event on Norwegian soil with some of the world’s largest artists. “OBOS24” and “Oslo Summer Time” have made record-high brand awareness results. The jury is very impressed and congratulates OBOS, JCP and the Ekko Agency who are the clear winner of the award.
